APC Inherited Insecurity, Critics Of President Buhari Not Fair – APC Chieftain Declares

A ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has risen to defend President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that all his critics of the country’s state of insecurity are not being fair to his administration.

According to Aminu Sani Jaji, the Director of Contact and Mobilization for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council for the North West, the APC deserved reelection by Nigerians because the party under President Buhari attempted to secure the country.

Jaji, a former lawmaker, told pressmen in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, during a press briefing that the APC inherited the country’s insecurity situation, and that any suggestion that insurgency and insecurity began under President Buhari’s administration would be unfair to him.

Jaji argued that everyone, including opposition parties, has a responsibility to protect lives and property.

While campaigning for the APC, Jaji stated that Nigerians had quickly forgotten that the discovery of oil in Gombe State occurred during President Buhari’s tenure, which he described as another landmark achievement by the APC-led administration in the country.

He predicted that all indications point to the APC winning by a landslide in the upcoming general elections.

He noted that;

We know that the security challenges were inherited by the APC-led government and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem.
