A ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has risen to defend President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that all his critics of the country’s state of insecurity are not being fair to his administration.

Jaji, a former lawmaker, told pressmen in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, during a press briefing that the APC inherited the country’s insecurity situation, and that any suggestion that insurgency and insecurity began under President Buhari’s administration would be unfair to him.

Jaji argued that everyone, including opposition parties, has a responsibility to protect lives and property.

I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and will tackle it appropriately.

We know that the security challenges were inherited by the APC-led government and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem.
