Explosion rocks Port Harcourt APC rally, three injured

A twin explosion rocked the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) rally on Thursday at the Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, injuring no less than three people.

Within Nigeria gathered that all of the injured, including two women, were taken urgently to the hospital for treatment.

The youths were said to have prevented the party from holding the rally at the field located at the popular Mile one area of Port Harcourt.

Darlington Nwauju, the All Progressive Congress (APC)  publicity secretary, acknowledged the occurrence and called it “unfortunate,” despite Iringe-Koko, the police spokesperson, saying she would follow up on the matter.
