For the upcoming elections on February 25, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the complete list of all presidential and National Assembly (NASS) candidates.

According to item 8 of the Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 General Election and section 32(1) of the Electoral Act 2022, the publication of the final list of candidates for national elections (presidential, senatorial, and federal constituencies) took place.

After the political parties’ nomination process was over, the candidates’ names and addresses were made public.

On the final list were the presidential hopefuls for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC), the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Similar candidates for president included Daberechukwu Nwanyanwu of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and his running mate Ramalan Abubakar, as well as Dumebi Kachikwu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and his running mate Ahmed Mani.
